- New Secure Server Important Update(Last updated 11/25/00)
Our secure server web address was changed and updated. If you have been using the old secure server web URL, please change it now.
Please go to the JS file (*.js) to edit the source codes (use Wordpad to open the file). Edit the line:
From
https://secureserver01.activeserver03.net/greatsho/cgi-bin/greatshop2.cgi
To
https://ssl.webspan.net/~greatsho/cgi-bin/greatshop2.cgi
From now onward, the new secure order web address is 'https://ssl.webspan.net/~greatsho/'. The new secure order form submission will work fine as usual.
- Shop Search Engine Update (Last updated 6/25/00)
If you received error message (normally from browser compatibility problem) while trying to utilitize the search engine in your storefront, please edit the JS file (such as 10_GREATSHOP_SSL_Display_ShipFee_Shop.js) inside UPLOAD folder with Wordpad.
Search for the keyword ['toc'] and replace that frame name with [3]
So it will become:
parent.frames[3].document. . . .
Save this JS file, test index.html, and this will make the javascript search engine work.

IMPORTANT: If you are currently using Majon form mailing service (which is under Greatshop's paid account), please make the following changes to switch back to GreatShop Free Secure Form Mailer Service.
GreatShop provides you with
new secure order form mailer program at our server. You can use Wordpad
to edit your _xxxx.js inside the program [Upload] folder.
Search for keyword 'action'
and replace the whole line ' cWin.write(" ACTION=http..... ' with
the following:
cWin.write(" ACTION=https://ssl.webspan.net/~
greatsho/cgi-bin/greatshop2.cgi>
<INPUT type=hidden
name=recipient value=" );
IMPORTANT: Please make the
line above in one single line when you replace the existing ACTION
codes inside the js file. Keep your email address setting in the next code
line. This will submit order to your email via secure server.

IMPORTANT: When you are using
Shop Creator 2.0, please always stay at your current program directory
and do not load or save any file from Other Directory to avoid 'file
not found' or 'save problem'.
Copy all image files to
Shop Creator program folder before 'Browse Image'.
Always save shop as 'Products.t' in current directory.

How To Make Secure 'Locked' Sign Appeared In Order Form's Secure Thank-You Web Page?
If you put ' target=_top' inside the order form action,
the LOCKED KEY sign will appear on browser's left corner!
Please modify your JS file with Wordpad, search for ACTION. At the end of the URL path,
add target=_top.
Such as:
cWin.write("ACTION=https://ssl.webspan.net/~
greatsho/cgi-bin/greatshop2.cgi target=_top> " );
This will work. The thank-you secure page will be displayed.

Form Mailer?
The CGI-FREE is a demo
form mailer service that forwards all order information to your personal
email via Shop Creator order form. If you encounter server down problem
or want to build your own form mailer program in your own web site, please
take a look at this
useful Form Mailer resource website.

If you found javascript codes
duplicated inside your storefront, please use WordPad program to open 'cgi_index.s'
and 'cat_index.s'. Delete all codes inside these two files and type
first line in each file as:
<HTML></HTML>
Save the file and exit from
WordPad.

Shop Key or Password:
Your
English version shopkey should be "loyXXXX"
(first letter is always small "L").
